Who are we looking for? 

As the Sr. Director of Enterprise Product Management, you will be the strategic leader driving the vision, development, and success of our comprehensive enterprise product portfolio. Leveraging your extensive start-up experience, you will develop and oversee an agile approach that is pragmatic and fit for purpose, not driven by theoretical principles. You will rely on your deep tech expertise to lead and challenge a dynamic team of product managers, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to innovate and develop solutions that deliver real value to customers. 

Your role is pivotal in aligning product strategy with business goals, ensuring the seamless integration of technologies, and fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centricity. By leveraging your entrepreneurial DNA, you will steer the product roadmap, enhance delivery capacity to fuel our growth ambitions. 

Responsibilities

How will you contribute? 

  • Leadership 
  • Work closely with functional leaders to balance competing priorities and ensure that strategic goals are met within timelines and budget constraints 
  • Lead multiple product teams, ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic goals and agile practices 
  • Mentor, challenge and develop product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the teams 
  • Set clear expectations and performance goals for product teams, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback 
  • Product Portfolio Management 
  • Develop an agile prioritization and product management framework that is pragmatic and fit for purpose, not rooted in theory 
  • Ensure product teams' goals and activities are closely aligned with the company's strategic objectives 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between product teams and other departments to ensure seamless product development and delivery 
  • Agile and Scrum Leadership 
  • Champion the adoption and continuous improvement of agile methodologies, ensuring teams are following fit for purpose approaches in Scrum and other agile frameworks 
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and agile teams to ensure that product backlogs are prioritized, transparent, and aligned with business goals 
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and product demos to ensure alignment across teams and continuous delivery of high-value increments 
  • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure that teams have the necessary resources to meet project demands without overextending 

Qualifications

What do you bring to the table? 

  • Startup experience alongside deep technical knowledge 
  • A demonstrated ability to manage people and key stakeholders 
  • Self starter with a pragmatic approach to achieving / delivering results 
  • 10+ years of experience in product management within the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role 
  • Extensive experience in agile and scrum methodologies, with a proven ability to drive agile transformations and lead scrum teams 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
