Who are we looking for?

 

The Digital Design Lead is responsible for developing user-first creative and visual experiences that communicate AAA Life’s brand identity, position, and messaging across all business-to-consumer (B2C) touchpoints in the customer lifecycle. This role will elevate AAA Life’s branded properties for AAA members and our policyholders as they interact with us online. The Digital Design Lead has experience working in-house with an insurance brand, translating complex topics into clear and digestible designs.

Responsibilities

How will you contribute?

Creative Development and Campaign Execution

  • Lead and execute digital campaigns: Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to ideate and deliver innovative digital marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle.
  • Brand expression and design: Oversee the digital brand identity on AAALife.com, email, social media, and other channels, ensuring cohesive brand representation.

Strategy and Design Leadership

  • Develop and expand enterprise design strategy: Build AAA Life’s design function by establishing best practices and championing an omni-channel approach.
  • Lead digital optimization and testing: Drive creative testing workstreams to enhance performance and efficiency, focusing on leveraging data-driven successes.

Creative Process Oversight

  • Oversee creative production: Directly steer the creative process, including concept development, art direction, design, and copywriting, to align with business goals.
  • Content library management: Collaborate with the Brand Team to manage AAA Life’s B2C content library.

Team and Culture Development

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture: Inspire and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence.
  • Champion innovation: Promote new media opportunities and forward-thinking technology solutions to improve creative output.

Project Management and Collaboration

  • Coordinate multiple creative priorities: Lead planning, coordination, and approval processes to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
  • Cross-functional engagement: Participate in relevant meetings and project teams, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain alignment with brand objectives.

Qualifications

What do you offer?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Communications or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ expertise in graphic development
  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in UX/UI Design, ADA Compliance, HTML and Content Management Systems, Integrated Marketing/Content Marketing, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Experience working both across departments with multiple SMEs and externally with agency and third-party contacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage time and complex, multifaceted programs with accuracy
