Who are we looking for?

The Director, Digital Platform Strategy & Management is responsible for formulating the vision and strategy for AAALife.com and associated integration with AAA Club digital properties AAA.com across the AAA Federation. The role’s primary responsibility is to implement and lead all aspects of the website platform based on business strategy, voice of the customer insights, and AAA club input. This leader will partner with external/internal business and IT partners to drive detailed clarity and focus on the requirements needed to deliver the digital strategy. The role will own the Content Management System (CMS), Google Analytics and reporting, and all strategic discussions surrounding AAA Club digital integrations. The leader will also oversee the digital customer journey across the traditional marketing funnel and considers a multichannel marketing approach.

Responsibilities

How will you contribute?

Digital Strategy and Vision 

  • Develop and complete the AAALife.com vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Communicate digital strategy and vision, clearly articulating business value of new initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor competitive landscape and market trends to drive and enhance the customer experience roadmap.

Customer Journey and Experience 

  • Lead all aspects of the digital customer journey across the marketing funnel, considering a multichannel approach to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.
  • Develop, manage, and communicate the customer experience and engagement roadmap with partners.
  • Translate customer and business partner feedback into platform strategy and technology improvements.

Data Analytics and Insights

  • Oversee Google Analytics and other data sources to gain insights into customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, track efficiency, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the customer experience.

Collaboration with IT, Vendors, and Design Teams

  • Partner with IT to ensure flawless user experiences of Club integrations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external UI/UX design teams to create user-centric solutions.
  • Partner with external vendors and internal IT teams to detail requirements and deliver functionality based on user needs.

Content Management and Branding

  • Lead the Content Management System (CMS) to ensure consistent execution of brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and oversee website content to align with marketing and brand standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing/digital marketing
  • 10+ years of professional experience leading digital marketing platforms.
  • 7+ years of experience connecting cross-departmental and external teams in an agile environment and communicating performance to a senior audience.
  • 7+ years of Google analytics/data management
  • Solid understanding digital marketing concepts, UI/UX and human centered design
  • Experience in voice of the customer digital research methods and tactics
  • Experience in Financial Services preferred
  • Experience working with an Agile IT team environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of MarTech solution providers and web design and expertise a plus
